Eleuterio "Terry" de Guzman M.D.

Entered eternal life on November 11, 2016 at the age of 87. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Patricia (nee Pfiester), his children Dr. John (Lynn), Dr. Joseph (Mona), Jim (Sharon) and Jeff. He is the proud grandfather of Mathew, Joseph, Kirsten, Lissa, Peter, Natalie, Audrey, Nicole, Mara, Luke, William and Olivia. He is also survived by his sister, Emiliana (Emen) of Manila, Philippines and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents Carlos and Constancia and 5 siblings. Terry immigrated to the United States in 1959 and became the town doctor and deputy coroner for Wausaukee, Wisconsin. He and Pat moved to Milwaukee where he completed his residency in anesthesiology. He worked at St. Luke's hospital as a staff anesthesiologist for 24 years before retiring in 1992. He had a reputation for being kind, patient and having a very clean anesthesia station. He adored and was so proud of his 12 grandchildren. We will miss his warm and friendly smile, his contagious laugh and his amazing sense of humor and fashion! He resided most recently in Pewaukee, Wisconsin and Scottsdale, Arizona. Visitation will be held at Schmidt & Bartelt funeral home (10121 W. North Ave Wauwatosa, WI) Tuesday, November 15 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Christ King Catholic Parish (2604 N Swan Blvd Wauwatosa, WI) on Wednesday, November 16 with visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by mass at 11:00 am.
