Sarah Rogers Obituary

Sarah Desire Rogers, 40, born January 8, 1986, a native and resident of Houma, Louisiana passed away on March 26, 2026 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

She operated her own cleaning service for many years and excelled at it. She was a fabulous cook with a passion for the kitchen. She loved to sing, rap, and make music for everyone's enjoyment. She had a way with words that most people could never understand nor put together in a blink of a eye that went right to your heart.

She was a powerful woman of faith that wasn't afraid to speak out for Jesus Christ. She overcame many obstacles in life and gave love, support, and laughter while doing it. Her smile lit up wherever she was present and always made sure to put one on you, with a heart so special it was like no other. Sarah gave you confidence, love, understanding, gratitude, endurance and many more things that are hard to find!

She was preceded in death by her older sister Ashleigh Rogers, father Craig Rogers, grandparents Shirley and Edmond Bergeron, step-father Paul Duval Jr., and cousin Michelle Bergeron.

She is survived by her children, Dayton Broussard, Alyiha Landry, and Little Jordan Rogers; mother Connie Bergeron; sister, Telesia Laurence (Lee); niece and nephew, Zoey and Liam Laurence; brother, Corey "Sugar" Rogers; nephew, Hunter Chauvin; great niece, Gracelynn; stepson, Benjamin Rogers; and great niece Faith Elizabeth.
