Andrea, Doug & Brad,
We are so sad to hear of the passing of your Dad, Lester. We had the pleasure of being with him and your Mom on so many occasions with Jane and Phil. He was quite a guy and pretty darn good golfer. I had the pleasure of having him as my partner in the golf tournament tribute to Phil and we will always remember him and your mom fondly.
Sending thoughts and prayers to you all at this difficult time.
Peace be with you,
David & Linda Guilderson

Lester was an amazing man, so fun to talk to and filled with knowledge on any and all subjects. It was always a treat to see him when he visited Andrea and Don in Marblehead.

I have so many memories over so many years from when I first met Lester and his beautiful wife Ruth probably in 89 or 90, they were great friends of my mom and my stepdad Jane and Phil Blanchard... from swimming in their gorgeous pool, ping-pong tournaments in their basement, watching them play tennis at the tennis club and just every time I came to visit my mom and Phil whether it was from Boston, Virginia, or where I have been living for the last 29 years, the West Coast it was always a ritual to make sure we got to hang out with Ruth and lester, and then eventually after Ruth's passing we always made sure to see Lester. Right up until my last visit in January were and I got to see him as he transitioned in to Summerhill... rest in peace dear Lester and give Ruth a hug for me.

Lester was charming and fun and adored- especially by his daughter Andrea. He was never `old´. So interesting to read about all the things he was and did. RIP dear Lester!

oh no, I am so so sad to read this. Lester was a wonderful friend to my parents and to me - I recently saw him and his daughter at Twelve Pine and it was such a treat to catch up with him. We were planning to see each other at the end of April at the service for my parents.. my deep condolences to you, his family. He was a treasure.

Lester and Ruth welcomed me into their family through Andrea and Don. We shared many lovely gatherings together especially Christmas and July 4th in Marblehead! Conversations always flowed with great stories and lots of fun times to cherish. Although I did not know Lester didn´t like broccoli! Memories of his love of nature, golf, science and family remain strong along with his smile. Rest in peace Lester, a life truly well lived and enjoy being reunited with Ruth in spirit
