Chad Gray Obituary
Mr. Gray passed away on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, in Jacksonville.
He was born on April 25, 1984, in Tyler to David Arthur Gray and Tina Ann Culpepper. He graduated from Chapel Hill High School in 2002. He was an installer for Dish Network and had lived in the Tyler area all of his life. Chad loved life and lived life to the fullest.
He was a loving husband, father, son and grandson. On July 14, 2007, he married the love of his life, Krisi Gray. They have two beautiful daughters, Abigail and Riley Gray of Tyler.
He is also survived by his father and stepmother, David and Tara Gray of Tyler; mother and stepfather, Tina and Dylan Richardson of Bullard; brother, Cliff Gray of Tyler; sisters, Chasity Mines of Omaha, Katrina Roberts and Ashley Gray of Tyler; grandparents, Audra and Barbara Gray of New Chapel Hill, Jackie and Joyce Culpepper of Mount Pleasant; great-grandmother, Ann Huff of Shreveport, La.; nephews, Tanor and Bradley Mines; niece, Kamryn Mines; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ray and Brenda Abercrombie of Ben Wheeler; and numerous cousins,
Pallbearers are Jeff Browne, Brandon Collier, Brian Mines, Jason Gray, Blake Yowell, Zach Yowell, Rob Wood and Brian Roberson. Honorary pallbearers are Dylan Richardson, Jackie Culpepper, Shane Yowell, Bobby Kempar, Bob Martin, Les Lang, Tyler Jones, Shane Richardson and Mitch Wood.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Bank, 1200 S. Beckham, Tyler, 75701.

I didn't get to meet Chad, but I know he will be missed. My condolences to the family. I graduated with Neal and know he will miss Chad.

My Best Fishing Buddy

I could see him standing on the bank
I got a big-un as the reel he cranked.
His eyes was shining as big as a star.
Paw, we may have to pull it in with the car.
Fishing n hunting was always on Chad's mind.
He said,"Going fishing was good any ole time.
Paw, Don't just look around where you stand,
Can't you see I got my rods in my hand.
I can see him talking with Jesus and the Father,
Asking, now that we met can I fish in that river's swift water?
Then Jesus gave him a reel one made of solid gold.
Son, when you catch the big one reel fast, keep a good hold.
I can see him now as by life's river he stands.
Just laughing and casting with his new rod in his hands.
Lord we pray when at last we cross life's rageing tide,
Just save us a fishing spot right by Chad's side.

Hey brother we had soe good times. Seems like only yesterday I saw you and Jeff at the store. We drifted apart as friendship all to often do, but great thing is when we saw each other it was as though we did so everyday. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. I only wish that everyone realizes what a true friend you were and that heaven has one of the best guys looking down on us now.

I didnt know Chad, my group and I happened to ride up right after the accident and his fate was still unknown,I am so sorry the way it turned out. my 13 year old son was with me and he and I still talk about it and how sad this is. our prayers go out to the whole family . GOD BLESS !

Chad-
On this day all of us back on earth cried for the loss of a wonderful friend, husband, father and son. On this day God and all His Angels rejoiced to bring home one of His children. My prayers are with all of the family and friends. I hadn't seen Chad in years but I always remembered his sweet smile, and his lively spirit. He must have been born with that smile on his face, I never remember seeing Chad that he wasn't smiling!

To Chad's family,
I was at the hospital the morning Chad was born, and then years later I was able to interact with him some in his middle school years. He was a very likable and lovable kid, who grew to be a wonderful young man. He will surely be missed. My prayers are with all of you. May God help you find peace during this time.
