Daniel Maxwell Campbell

July 15, 1940 - August 8, 2025

Daniel "Danny" Maxwell Campbell, age 85, passed away peacefully on August 8th, surrounded by his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Virginia Campbell, and his brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Ruth Campbell.

Danny is survived by his wife, Wilinda Campbell, his daughters Angela Sabourin (Ken Sabourin), Danielle Campbell (Steve Bates), and Gina Campbell (Rick Cross), and his cherished grandchildren, Jake, Jordyn, and Luke Sabourin.

Born in Washington D.C., Danny attended St. Johns College High School and graduated from Northwestern High School. He furthered his education by earning a business degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. He was recognized as president of his Apprenticeship Class and chairman of the Bylaws Committee for the U.S. Government Printing Office in Washington, D.C. He was the third generation in his family to achieve journeyman status at the U.S. Government Printing Office. Danny later became a retired business owner in the printing industry and remained an active realtor in the Washington metropolitan area.

A funeral mass to celebrate Danny's life will be held on August 28th at 10:00 AM

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church - 6701 Muncaster Mill Rd, Derwood, MD 20855

Interment will follow: Gate of Heaven Cemetery - 13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Danny's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project or Fisher House Foundation, both are foundations for military service members and veterans that held a special place in his heart.

May Danny rest in eternal peace. His memory will be a guiding light and a blessing to all who knew and loved him
