HARWICH — Natalie (Silva) Powers of Harwich, formerly of Canton & Stoughton, passed away at the Jordan Hospital in Plymouth May 3, 2010.

Born in Easton she was raised in Stoughton, she graduated from Stoughton High School and lived in Canton for many years. She worked as a Certified Nurse's Aide at the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton for 25 years and was a devoted housewife and mother. She was a member of the Canton Catholic Women's Club and the Cape Cod Health Care Respiratory Support Group.

Beloved wife of the late John F. Jr. Mother of John F. III and his wife Donna of Tyngsboro, Paul W. and his wife Elizabeth of Norton, Michael A. and his wife Jessica of Attleboro, Mary G. Mahan and her husband John of Harwich, Kathleen Powers of Canton and the late Timothy Patrick Powers. Sister of Manuel, Jerry and Irene Silva all of Brockton and Maryann Silva of Falmouth. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington St., Canton, Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, Canton, Friday morning at 10:30. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Canton.

Donations may be made in her memory to Harwich Firefighter's Assoc., 175 Sisson Road, Harwich, MA 02645.
