Please accept my condolences and prayers. I am a Vancrest resident and ate meals with Gene. I miss our talks and Gene's good humor! Gene was a good man who loved his wife, kids and grand kids. He missed Mary and his grandchildren a great deal and spoke of them often. Please know that Gene is with Mary and his grandkids once again.

Prayers to the Mead family. Twenty years ago, I happened to get Uncle Gene as a driver's ed. instructor. He was a great teacher because I've never had an accident or a speeding ticket. I remember talking with him at family gatherings. He was always happy and had a story to tell. The world has lost a great man. So very sorry for your loss.
