LIMA - Phyllis "Lou" Harruff, 90, of Lima passed away at 5:32 AM on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at The Greens at Lima Convalescent Home. She was born on May 5, 1931 in Hancock, Co., to Clarence and Blanche (Abbott) Wells, who both preceded her in death. On September 17, 1954, she married Bill J. Harruff, who preceded her in death on May 29, 1998.
Lou was a member of Shawnee United Methodist Church. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing tennis. More recently, she enjoyed playing cards, especially Bridge. She loved the sunshine and spending time outdoors. Most of all, she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are her son Kim (Darla Reese) Harruff of Lima; her daughters Terri Leibold of Houston, TX and Traci (Jim) Van Keuren of Lakeville, OH; her grandchildren Kacy (Ryan) Molloy, Kolby (Alyson) Harruff, Taylor (Brett) Swartz, Logan (Isabella) Krukenberg, Paxton (Taylor) Miller and McKena Van Keuren; her great-grandchildren Vann, Kohen, McCartney, Taya and Nixon.
She was preceded in death by her ten brothers and sisters.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service at a later date at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
