Gail Elizabeth Dalton, age 72, a resident of Nashua, passed away at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center on Monday, November 8, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Lowell on June 13, 1949 and was the daughter of the late John "Howie" and Eileen (Quigley) James.
Gail grew up in Lowell and attended Lowell High School. Gail worked as a bookkeeper and retired from Ansell & Anderson, P.A. in Bedford, NH. She loved spending time at the beach with her family, especially trips to Seabrook. Gail enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, as well as her time at the casino slots. Above all, she adored her family. She cherished time with her grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to attend one of their sporting events or activities.
Gail is survived by her 2 daughters, Cheryle Cushion and her boyfriend Jim Giarruso of Salem, NH, and Patty Sierra and her husband Jorge of Amherst, NH, and her grandchildren, Joshua, Kyle, Taylor, Sofia, Ava, and Bella. She also leaves behind her 2 sisters, Phyllis Carignan and her husband Don of Nashua NH and Barbara Campbell and her husband Al of Dracut, MA as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is sadly preceded in death by her 3 sisters, Nancy, Margaret "Peggy", Judy and 3 brothers, William "Billy", Gary, Jack.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, November 12th from 4pm to 7pm at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11am at St. Marguerite D'Youville, 1340 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Front Door in memory of Gail E Dalton. Their mission is to offer support and provide services to help individuals and families transition from crisis to self-sufficiency. Gail was proud of the work her daughter Patty did at The Front Door Agency and would have loved to help another local family in need.
