WINDHAM, New Hampshire -- Isabel H. (Haggerty) Cappiello, 90, of Windham, New Hampshire, died Monday morning, April 29th, at Windham Terrace.

She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. David A. Cappiello who died January 27, 2007.

Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, October 26, 1922, the daughter of the late Francis and the late Anna (McKay) Haggerty, she attended Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School where she was a Major in the LHS Girl Officers. She then went on to graduate from Lowell Technological Institute (now known as UMass Lowell) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Textile Engineering.

Before retiring, Mrs. Cappiello was a Professor at the Buffalo State College in the Industrial Arts Department. Later in life, she continued to work part time as a Librarian.

Being all about family, Isabel loved spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Cappiello is survived by two sons, David B. Cappiello of Williamsville, NY, and Gregory G. Cappiello and his wife, Josephine of Windham, NH; four grandchildren, Bonnie C., Andrew D., Anthony D. and Olivia R. Cappiello; a sister, Carmel Farley and her husband, Robert of Dracut, MA; a sister-in-law, Eileen Haggerty of Hartford, CT; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was also sister of the late Francis Haggerty, the late Gary Haggerty and the late Grant Haggerty.

Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME, 11 NASHUA ROAD in PELHAM, NH from 4 to 7 P.M. Friday. Her Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home at 7:00 P.M. Friday evening. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Rochester, NY, Wednesday May 8, 2013.
