Kenneth Wilson, age 82, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2023, at his home in La Porte, Indiana.
He was born on Oct. 31, 1940, in Hobart, Indiana, to Lloyd and Lois Wilson, who have preceded him in death.
On March 20, 2004, he married Amelia Wilson, who resides in La Porte, Indiana.
He is also survived by his children, Bill (Lynn) Wilson, Meggan (John) Oltz, Sara (Ed) Skaggs and Rebecca Horn; grandchildren, Reilly Wilson, Krysten Fratgillo, Nicholas Struyf, Louis Muckway, Maxwell Muckway and Amelia Horn; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Lynne Hippie and Laura Hensley. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Wilson; and brother, Billy Wilson.
Kenneth loved being around his family and especially loved to watch his grandson, Maxwell. He retired as a career agent with Farm Bureau in Michigan City after 35 years of work. He was a proud Notre Dame football fan and enjoyed watching golf. He will be greatly remembered for being a very gentle and kind man who always had a positive attitude.
Visitation will be held on Saturday Oct. 21, 2023, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home, located at 613 Washington St. Michigan City, Indiana, 46360, with Chaplain Joe Moffett officiating.
Services will conclude at Funeral Home with cremation to follow.
