Paul Yoder Obituary

Paul W. Yoder
April 1, 1949 - June 19, 2017
Montezuma, GA- Paul W. Yoder of Montezuma, Georgia, was born on April 1, 1949, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, to William N. Yoder and Emma (Weaver) Yoder. On January 7, 1972, he and Kathryn Yoder were joined in holy matrimony. They cherished the 45 years they had together. After courageously battling cancer for 2 ½ years, he gained a new body and his eternal reward on June 19, 2017, at the age of 68. Committing his life to Christ in his younger years, he remained faithful to the end. He invested his life in his family and the church and loved teaching Sunday school for many years. He was a faithful member of Clearview Mennonite Fellowship. He dearly loved his wife, children, and grandchildren and sacrificed much for them. He was a life-long dairy farmer and enjoyed working with his children and grandchildren on the farm.
Surviving, along with his wife Kathryn, are his children: Joann Yoder of Montezuma, GA, Janet Yoder of Montezuma, GA, Carol (Delmer) Plank of Cross Hill, SC, Karen Yoder of Waynesboro, GA, Wayne Yoder of Montezuma, GA, Keith Yoder of Montezuma, GA; Grandchildren: Shirley, Sharon, Ronnie, and Regina Yoder; Wyatt, Delana, Vicki, and Brent Plank; Siblings: Noah, Lovina, Norman, William Jr., Ernest, David, Ivan, and Susan Yoder
Preceding him in death are his parents, William N. and Emma Yoder and one niece, Margaret Yoder
Funeral services were held at Clearview Mennonite Church on Thursday, June 22, 2017, with Clyde Yoder, Dwight Yoder, and Donnie Brenneman serving. Interment followed at the Clearview Cemetery, with Noah Yoder officiating.
