Keith Burrows Obituary

Keith Burrows
1959 - 2016

GABSHIEM, Germany - Keith was taken on June 16, 2016, after a long battle with cancer.

He was born in McKees Rocks, Pa., on Dec. 8, 1959. He attended Waterville schools, where he was an active member of the JV and Varsity soccer teams, both as a player and a coach. After graduating, he attended the University of Maine in Presque Isle. Keith enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Korea and in Germany, where he made his life.

Keith worked for Federal Express in Germany, and the Airport in Frankfurt.

He is survived by his mother, Juanita McDonald; his beloved wife, Eveline, of Gabshiem, Germany; his daughter, Christine Schiklinski and husband Peter; sons, Thomas Immig and significant other Nadine, and Christian Immig, all of Germany; sisters, Sherry Cookson of Waterville, and Brenda Smyles of Edmonds, Wash.; brothers, James Burrows and wife Kim of Kirkland, Wash., Timothy Burrows Roxxx of Waterville, and Shawn Greaves and significant other Danielle of Waterville; his grandchildren, Anna and Jonas; his loyal dog Paula; and many nieces and nephews.

Keith loved watching soccer and spending time with his grandchildren and pets. He was a regular supporter of blood drives and gave more than his share of blood to help save lives.

A celebration of Keith's life will take place on Aug. 27 at the Waterville Elks Lodge, Industrial Street, Waterville, from noon-3 p.m. Please come and share a memory.

In lieu of flowers, Keith would have preferred that you support your local Red Cross.
Give a pint of blood in his memory. He would have appreciated that.
