Priscilla Ann Ragsdale

Priscilla Ann (Cantrell) Ragsdale, 80, a beacon of love, faith, and unwavering devotion, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on December 18, 2023 in Springfield, Missouri. She was a cherished mother and grandmother whose life was a testament to kindness, compassion, and devout faith. Priscilla was born on August 18, 1943, in Marshfield, Missouri, to parents Fred Roosevelt and Lillie Magdalene (Poindexter) Cantrell. She graduated from Marshfield High School in 1961 and went on to attend Burge School of Nursing and Drury University where she became a registered nurse.

Priscilla was raised with strong Christian values that became the guiding principles of her life.

As a mother, she poured boundless love, wisdom, and guidance into the lives of her children, nurturing them with grace and compassion. As a grandmother, she delighted in the laughter and innocence of her grandchildren.

Priscilla is survived by her husband Gary, her sister Carol Price of Springfield, 2 children Dan Ragsdale (Chansouk) of Springfield, Missouri, Matthew Ragsdale (Christina) of Seattle, Washington, 8 grandchildren Lily, Danielle, Dalton, Tristan, TJ, Kelsey, Phillip and Christopher, two great grandchildren and many more friends and relatives deeply touched by her grace.

Her life will be celebrated in a service held at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Her visitation will be Friday, December 22nd at 7pm. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, December 23rd, at 11 am.
