Mary Compton Obituary
Mary loved her grandkids. She especially liked cooking with them. She had worked as a nursing home cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Gary Compton.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Kristy France, Springfield; her son, James Compton and wife Dara, Marshfield; her siblings, Debbie Kistner, Nevada, MO, Lee Robinson and Pat, Langley, OK, Wilbur "Bill" Etysel Robinson, Jr., Collinsville, OK, Jimmy Robinson and Elaine, AR, and Jean Foster, Tulsa, OK; and five grandchildren, Taylor, Landon, Maddy, Hailey, and Logan.
Graveside services for Mary Compton will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2023, in Friendship Cemetery, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.

I worked with Mary and Maddy at the Nursing Home. I will never forget how she loved the residents and made me laugh everyday! A special memory was when we stayed at the nursing home and were snowed in together...Mary and Maddy and I played games and laughed most of the night!! Love you "Crazy Mary"!!!! Such an amazing woman with a loving heart!!! And a great cook

Gary and Mary Compton were both good friends to me. I will miss them both. I have a lot of memories that I'll never forget of the time I spent with them. Gary and Mary were the very best. My condolences to the family and Bub.
