Mrs Hutterer, Fred, Ann, Mark and family- Our deepest condolences to you all at this time. I’ve known Fred since I was about 8 yrs old when he coached me in football-great times and memories. I also had the pleasure of him being my barber for a number of years and also cutting my sons hair as well for a good number of years. He always gave my son his infamous “Johnny Unitas flat-top”. He was always a joy to talk sports with when at the shop, especially about our Dallas Cowboys or NY Yankees. Again, our deepest sympathies at this time. May he now Rest In Peace.

We would like to express our sincere sympathy to the family in light of Fred's passing. My son Jonathan went to Fred for his haircut since the age of 3 years, he is now 37 years old. Fred was the only person that my son would go to for his haircut when he was a toddler, and went there until he graduated from college. Fred was also a good friend to my father John, and would go to his home to cut his hair after he had his stroke. Fred will always be remembered for his involvement in the church, especially the church festivals. He was a wonderful role model for many, and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time. Tim, Mary K., & Jonathan Riegel

Fred was a good football player but even a greater friend. Everything Fred did he did with class. Enjoyed serving with Fred for so many years as a class reunion committee member. He was such a big part of all the wonderful reunions the class of 1960 enjoyed. You will be missed Freddie. What the world has lost Heaven has gained. Condolences to Carol and all of his widespread family members which he cherished so dearly.

We always enjoyed taking our son to Fred for a haircut, who is now 23. He always got candy, not a piece but a handful. Going there reminded me of the old days barbershops like Andy Griffith show. Fred was a pillar of Catasauqua society and will be missed. Rest In Peace Fred and deep condolences to the family.

To the entire family of Fred, I am sorry to learn of Fred's passing. I will miss our conversations about football, Catty/Northampton, fishing, and life with every haircut I received from him over the years. He was a strong man and is at peace now. I hope he and my dad re-united and had a lengthy discussion about the eagles and the cowboys. RIP Fred!

The world is so much more sadder today with the passing of Fred. He was such a great man, friend, father, grandfather, jokester... Everyone he met he touched in a special way. Whether in his barber shop threatening some child's ear, organizing and running many church functions, scouring Canadian lakes for the biggest fish and finally spotting the life-long elusive, real-life moose! All the badgering he took and dished back about his beloved Dallas Cowboys always ended in a jovial way. His antics on the golf course were second to none and always enlightened a dismal round.
May the good Lord bless you now Fred. Your work here is done and now you get to have some of the finest clientele knocking on your shop door, starting with the Lord.
Until we meet again good friend...
