I have know Michael since 1978 when we worked together on an agricultural project in Florida. We later shared various projects until he moved to California to take care of his parents in 1999. Michael was a gentleman in every sense of the word. I really enjoyed his presence. I wish him well as his journey continues.

Michael was great. Is great now in his higher identities, wherever the soul goes after death. Kind, helpful, heart centered, generous with his time, amazingly strong and gentle massage hands, he was my favorite panchakarma technician, nice smile, nice heart. I think I absorbed a lot from Micheal's nature and whenever I think of him it is with simplicity and gentleness so I take it to mean he radiated those qualities. I know he was loved here and beyond. Thank you Michael. All the best support of nature from wherever you have transcended too. Bye for now.

Michael was a wonderfully generous man and a good friend to all, and to the whole earth. Our loss is heaven's gain. Blessings to him in this next great adventure.

My heartfelt sympathies to Michael's family. They have every reason to be forever proud of him - a very fine man.

Michael has been a dear friend of mine since the early 80s. From that time on we have been members of the Maharishi Purusha Program. As such, we have been devoted to Supreme Knowledge and to sharing it with the world, through the Transcendental Meditation program. Michael and I worked together on a four month project in Brazil. During that time, we spent a week visiting with the family that had hosted me as an exchange student to Brazil for one year, in 1966. Michael captivated that family with his down-home, simple charm. In fact, he captivated all the Brazilians! He and I made many presentations to some of the largest, most prestigious businesses in Brazil, and Michael never failed to win them over with his gentle, caring ways and clear mind. Michael and I completed a three and one half year MBA program at Maharishi University Of Management, and this added to his effectiveness in dealing with these business leaders.

All of Michael's friends from the Purusha Program were impressed by Michael's dedication to his parents. We missed his presence with our group, but understood his loving

A few days before Michael passed from this world, I spoke with him on the phone. He had me review the progress of Maharishi's worldwide efforts to create a better world. After I gave him the review, he commented "Then there is significant progress." It is a testament to the evolved level of life Michael had achieved, that shortly before his passing he should be deeply concerned with matters other than the condition of his failing body.

Michael and I often spoke Portuguese with one another. At the end of our final phone conversation I said I was sending him "um grande abraço" (A big hug). He replied that he was sending me "um abraço imenso" (an immense hug)! That's Michael. He always had the most emotionally intelligent, perfect response for every occasion. That conversation from his deathbed was a powerful reminder that the soul does not die, but is, in fact, eternal. Godspeed, dear Michael.

Michael was a friend of mine for a number of years in the eighties. He was a gentle, kind person and a man of great character. I'm very sorry to hear that he left us, but he will be remembered well by all who knew him.

Sincere sympathy to his family. I knew him from the Portuguese festas, met his family, and saw him when he was a teacher in Ceres where we lived. He always marched to his own beat. I wished that I could have heard his stories. He was a kind and respectful man. He was old country and a gentleman.
