David Dakil, 66, of Midland passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025. A visitation will be held 5:30pm-7:00pm on Thursday May 29, 2025 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland. Funeral service will take place 2:00pm, Friday, May 30, 2025 at First Methodist Church with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory. Online condolences may be made at www.npwelch.com.

I remember that play in 76, made him a legend, so very sorry to hear about his passing. David was a good man, always had a smile and that little hop in his walk, had not seen him in a while, but I remember him fondly. Prayers for his family.

I´m so very sorry to hear about David´s death. He was always so very kind to me. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Nancy and Susan and the rest of the family. We had some great times at LHS. Rest easy, David.
