David Dakil, 66, of Midland passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025. A visitation will be held 5:30pm-7:00pm on Thursday May 29, 2025 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home in Midland. Funeral service will take place 2:00pm, Friday, May 30, 2025 at First Methodist Church with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory. Online condolences may be made at www.npwelch.com.

I remember that play in 76, made him a legend, so very sorry to hear about his passing. David was a good man, always had a smile and that little hop in his walk, had not seen him in a while, but I remember him fondly. Prayers for his family.
