Veronica Michelle McAfee

After high school graduation, she attended Midland College and Prairie View A&M University. She later relocated to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area where she worked as an Analyst for AT&T until she was medically retired. Her love for her family was evident in all she did, as was her love for all animals. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents-Alvin and Connie Mae Green and her paternal grandparents - Howard and Julie McAfee. She leaves to cherish her memory; her mother Ruby L. Runnels (Soloman - Stepfather); her father Dr. John W. McAfee, Sr. (Karen-Stepmother); her sister Charlotte McAfee; her brother John W. McAfee, Jr.; her stepbrothers, Christopher and Derrick Walker; her niece Cydney Lee McAfee, her beloved pets, and a host of Uncles, Aunts, cousins and friends. Services were held in Terrell, Texas on Saturday, September 17, 2022 under the direction of DuBose Funeral Home.
