John Giunta

AGE: 58 • Woodbridge

John Giunta, 58, of Woodbridge passed away on December 8, 2016. He was born on August 15, 1958 in Ragusa, Sicily to Santo and Giuseppa Giunta, and grew up in Brooklyn, NY.

John was a kind, dedicated, and selfless husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. A hard worker since the age of 13, John was a man of creativity and innovation. In building countless security cameras, he has made the world a safer place for over 25 years.

John leaves behind his wife, Lenora, after 45 years together and 36 years married; as well as his daughter, ToniAnne, and son-in-law, Michael. He also leaves behind brother Carmelo and sister-in-law Blanche; brother Luigi and sister-in-law Ariana; sister-in-law Rosanna and brother-in-law John; along with nieces and nephews Stephen, Jessica, Faith, John, Kyle, Alegra, Mossimo, Juliette, Grayson, and Maddox.

Funeral services will begin at 10am on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from GERITY & CHUBENKO FUNERAL HOME, 411 Amboy Avenue, Woodbridge followed by a 10:30am mass of resurrection at St. James R.C. Church in Woodbridge. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 2pm to 6pm as well as Monday, December 12, 2016 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm at the funeral home.
