Aaliyah Marie-Lynn King

Aaliyah Marie-Lynn King, born on November 20, 2024, in Elmira, NY to K.C. King, Jr. and Amy Lynn Burdick, was a shining star whose light was dimmed from this world far too soon. She passed away into the arms of our lord on November 27, 2024. She was a beloved daughter, cherished sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and a true princess as a member of the King family. Aaliyah's memory will forever be etched into the hearts of those that loved her.
Aaliyah is survived by her loving parents, K.C. King Jr. and Amy Lynn Burdick, who loved her more than words can express. She is also survived by her siblings on her mother's side, Ayriona, Alexis, and Alivia, and by her siblings on her father's side, Tasha, Keyshawn, Kaleb, Elijah, Kiarra, Destiney, Deonna, Deasia, and Reshawn; grandparents, Robert (Susan Upright) Burdick, and K.C. King, Sr.; aunts, Bobbie Stevens, Shelly Whitney, Judy Burdick, Diane Mclean, and Shannon Upright; uncles, Grant Whitney and Danny Mclean; she is also survived by several cousins and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Noreen Burdick and Willie Mae King.
Calling hours for Aaliyah will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 11:00 am -12:00 pm at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 East 1st Street, Corning, New York, 14830, where a Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 pm.
