Aaron Eugene Simmons (74) kept his first estate, so on a windy day on March 18, 1950, he came to earth to live with his earthly parents Farrell and Helen Simmons as 1 of 10 children, in Tridell, Utah. He returned to his Heavenly Father on a rainy day, surrounded by family on October 18, 2024.
He graduated from Union High School in 1968, after which he served a 2-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Kentucky Tennessee Mission. After returning, he met and fell in love with Helen Elison, and were married on June 23, 1972 in the Provo Utah Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They made their home in Tridell, Utah where they owned, worked, and managed a dairy farm, along with his brother, Louis. In 2001, he was employed by the Uintah School District as a custodian and later by the United Basin Technology College until retirement. He faithfully served in many church positions throughout his life including a 3-year service mission with his wife. He loved to laugh, but even more, loved to make others laugh. He would say the greatest accomplishment in his life was marrying Helen and becoming a father to 4 beautiful girls and 1 amazing son.
Aaron is survived by his wife, Helen and his 5 children; Berneen (Steve) Peterson of Herriman, UT; Brenda (Greg) Duncan of Paradise, UT; Darla (Kevin) Tautkus of Draper, UT; Shawny (Kelly) Reynolds of Blackfoot, ID; Trenton (Bridget) Simmons of Tridell, UT. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers (Gary & Louis), and granddaughter (Zoey).
