Abigail R. "Gail" Michaels, of Green Bay passed away Friday, December 29, 2023 at the Jack & Engrid Meng Hospice Residence.
Gail was born to the late John and Esther (Behm) Hintz. On July 2, 1954 she was united in marriage to Robert T. Michaels, Sr. He preceded her in death on July 2, 2013.
Gail was the head cook at West High School before her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her grand & great grandchildren, traveling, cooking and watching the Packer games.
Survivors include her children: Brenda (Bobby) Martin; Bob (Lori) Michaels, Jr.; three grandchildren: Mitchell (Lauren) Michaels, Travis Michaels, Ryan (Chelsea) Florian; four great grandchildren: Isabella, Farrah, Ava Grace and one due in July; one sister: Esther Collins; one brother-in-law: James Patterson; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Gail was preceded in death by her parents John & Esther Hintz, her husband Robert Michaels, Sr., three sisters Hazel Kallies, Mavis Patterson and Evelyn Braatz and one brother Everet Hintz.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2024 at The Lyndahl Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Entombment will take place at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum at a later date.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the services at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024.
