Abigail Moir Obituary
Born June 16, 1987, in State College, she was the daughter of Kathy Hartnett Moir and Robert Moir. She was blessed to share a deep love with her soulmate, Johnny Reczko, who resides in Boalsburg. Their bond was one of true companionship, built on love, laughter, and unwavering support.
She is survived by her mother Kathy Hartnett Moir and her father Robert Moir along with her loving siblings: Kirstie Horner and her husband Jamie, William Moir and Erin Ruse, Katie Young and her husband Jimmy, Lisa Leitzinger and her husband Greg, Xavier Moir, in addition to her many nieces and nephews.
Abby was a graduate of State College Area High School and Pennsylvania State University. She was a devoted daughter and sister, a cherished aunt, and a loyal friend to many. Her kindness, warmth, and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her. She had a special bond with her nieces and nephews, always offering love, guidance, and laughter. Her presence brought joy to every gathering, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Abby had a love for the beach, it was her happy place, where she found comfort in the sound of the waves and the warmth of her family by her side. She spent a multitude of time in the great outdoors and often found peace and adventure on hiking trails. Her sense of humor was a gift she readily shared, bringing joy to those around her with her quick wit and well-timed jokes.
Celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at State College Presbyterian Church, 132 W Beaver Ave, State College, PA.
