Adam Andrew Fleetwood was born May 4, 1992, in Duncan, Oklahoma to David and Theresa (Benedict) Fleetwood. He passed away Monday, April 21, 2025 at the age of 32.
A memorial service is planned for 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 17, at Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Allen officiating. Cremation arrangements are being handled by Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center.
Adam was a construction and painting contractor. He was a master with his hands and mind to accomplish any task he took on. He grew up loving to play baseball, fishing, and hunting. Adam was creative, enjoyed being in the kitchen or reading a good book. He took great pride in his garden, especially his hot pepper plants. He had a kind heart and a big laugh. Adam will live in our hearts forever.
Those left to mourn his loss include his parents Theresa and Joe Mitchell and David Fleetwood; brother, Kyle Fleetwood; cousins: Josh and Erica Dufour, Andrea and Mark Hasenmyer, Joe Byford; significant other, Brooke Shadix; and special longtime friends: Jordan Metha, Carmen Metha, and Barbara Webster.
Adam is preceded in death by his grandparents: Ben and Kay Benedict, Diane and Bob Ledgerwood, Butch Fleetwood; uncle, Rick Benedict; aunt, Vicki Tidwell; sister-in-law, Susie Fleetwood; and longtime friend, Mike Metha.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Adam's memory to the Stephens County Humane Society. Online condolences may be made at www.whittfh.com.
