Adam Lee Hartford, 43, of La Porte, passed away unexpectedly at 7:24 a.m., Thursday, June 26, 2025 at his home.
He was born on February 19, 1982, in Gary, to Bruce Adam and Mary (White) Hartford.
On July 26, 2013, in Michigan City, he married Angel Wilson, who survives, along with his children, Dakota Mitchell, Hunter Hartford, Owen Dotson, and Fischer Hartford; his dogs, P.J., Addie and Bernie.
Adam loved fishing, snow mobiles, Harley's, gambling at the casino and working hard. He was very talented and could so many different things, from mechanic work to carpentry. Adam was always working on something. He loved to talk and tell stories. Most of all, Adam loved spending time with his family and special friends, Pat Pans, Patrick, Josh Jordan, Mike Johnson and Jeff Martin. He was greatly loved and will be truly missed.
Also surviving are two brothers, Bruce (Brittany) Hartford and Anthony Hartford; one sister, Jessica Hartford.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; aunt, Sue Mitchell.
Cremation will take place. Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte, (219) 362-3100, is caring for the arrangements. A celebration of life is planned for July 26, 2025, with more information to come.
