Adam James Turvey, 45, of Sauquoit, NY, passed away on September 21, 2025.

Adam was born on March 6th,1980 in Shropshire, England to Janet and Brian Turvey. He grew up in Clinton, NY, where he graduated from Clinton High School and later received his BA from SUNY Oneonta.

While Adam majored in communications in college, he discovered a love and talent for building and construction, setting off a career of managing large construction projects and later embarking on his own successful construction venture, Beldon Construction. More recently, he served as a Project Manager for Pike Construction Services.

Adam married the great love of his life, Megan Turvey (nee Dever), in 2021, where together they created a loving home raising four beautiful children, Bella, Jadon, Kenny and Josephine. Adam was a deeply devoted husband and father who most enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking or playing games and watching movies together; snowmobiling and skiing in the winter and enjoying summer weekends out on the boat or at the helm of a grill.

Throughout his life, Adam was known for his wry charm, quick witted humor, hard work ethic and incredible loyalty to family and friends. He loved seeking out adventure, regularly taking his motorcycle out on the back hills, and even learning how to pilot a small airplane, despite his fear of flying. For Adam, taking his fate into his own hands was always his preferable mode of transportation, and earned the awe and laughter of all he recounted his stories to.

Adam is survived by his wife and children, Megan Turvey, Bella Carpenter, Jadon Carpenter, Kenny Turvey, and Josephine Turvey; his parents Janet and Brian Turvey, siblings Emma Graham and Carrie Moores, including the innumerable family members, nieces and nephews who adored him. Cheers to a one-of-a-kind friend, brother, husband and son.

In keeping with Adam's wishes, there will be no public visitation. Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are with Smith Funeral Home, Sauquoit.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Autoimmune Association at autoimmune.org (http://autoimmune.org/) in Adam's memory.
