Adam Travis Wright, a man of faith and remarkable spirit, departed from this world far too soon on November 6, 2025, in Polson, Montana, under tragic circumstances. Born on December 7, 1985, in
Atlanta, Georgia, Adam's life was a testament to the values of courage, commitment, and compassion. Survived by: his two sons, Aiden Taylor Wright and Errison Joseph Wright, and the mother of his two sons, Ann Marie Ferruzza; his mother and father-in-law, Shawnee Nell Merritt-Whitten and Roger James Whitten; his father, Park Adam Wright, II; his brother and sister-in-law, Benjamin Clark Wright and Brittany Wright, and their three children, Natalie, Conner, and Scarlett; his three uncles, Jonathan Marvin Merritt and wife, Philicia, and their children, Ariel, Brandy, Nick and Adam; Benjamin Thomas Merritt and his children, Richard, Vanessa and Ryan; and Dartlon Merritt; his two step brothers, Duane and Derrick Wright; his numerous other cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and devoted friends.
Adam's journey through life was marked by a series of accomplishments and a deep dedication to his Christian faith. He attended Grayson High School in
Loganville, GA, where he showcased his athletic prowess by earning competition honors on the swim team, particularly excelling in the 500-meter freestyle. Adam's quest for knowledge and self-improvement continued at the Jacob Creek Job Corps in
Bristol, TN, where he expanded his horizons even further. His passion for martial arts was one of the central themes of his life. Adam achieved the rank of 5th Degree Black Belt (Jounin) in Ninjutsu/Jinenkan, studying under the esteemed John Orth. This discipline extended beyond the physical, as it shaped his life philosophy and interactions with others. Adam's interests were as diverse as his talents, ranging from languages to history, arts to swimming. He reveled in the cultural richness of the Native American Pow Wow Competition Circuit and the Annual Scottish Highland Games, where he not only participated but also absorbed the traditions and camaraderie that came with them. Adam's creativity found an outlet in drawing, a skill that he loved to share with his family and friends. He was a loving father, who, along with the mother of his sons, Ann Marie Ferruzza, instilled in them the values of respect and kindness. His familial bonds were strong and deep, including the close relationships he shared with his mother, his brother, Benjamin Clark Wright, and the close personal relationships with many of his friends.
