Adele Bryant Obituary
Born in New Haven, CT she was the daughter of the late Norman and Eloise (Poindexter Gray) Bryant. Before retiring, Adele was a self-employed craftsperson specializing in repairing antique textiles. She was an adventurous cook and a devoted friend, known for her great laugh and generosity. She loved gardening, meals with friends and the Red Sox.
Adele is survived by her husband of forty years, John R. Hegnauer. She leaves her stepdaughter, Rachel E.H. Nguyen and her husband, Nguyen; her stepson Jacob R. Richards-Hegnauer and his wife, Elizabeth; her brother, George Bryant; her sister, Eloise 'Sis' Held; her three grandchildren, Noah Nguyen, Emmett Nguyen, and Nila Lares Richards-Hegnauer; a niece, Tracy Held and nephew, Tasha Bryant.
