Adele Frances Floridia

Adele (Sammy) Frances Floridia, 77, passed away on Monday, October 3rd, 2022 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, surrounded by Loving family.
Adele was Born July 17, 1945 in Marion, Ohio to the late Conrad and Hazel (Bender) Floridia. She was a graduate of Marion Harding High School class of 1963, then went on to study at The Ohio State University received her degree in Pathology.
After college Adele ventured cross country traveling Route 66 all the way to California, where she had discovered her many passions of electrical engineering and her love of stones, gems and beautiful jewelry making. Adele had owned her own business of TLC Marine Electrical for 40 years until last year when she retired and moved back to Marion, Ohio and took a part time job working at Kohl's.
Adele is survived by her bothers Conrad (Belinda) Floridia II of Marion, Ohio and Jack (Leesa) Floridia of Freedom, Pennsylvania and her long-time roommate Rita Poli of Santon, California. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Vicki (Steve) Certich, Paul (Sarah) Floridia, Curt (Tina) Floridia, Trever (Jessica) Floridia, Justin (Teresa) Floridia, Kelly (Micheal) Krznaric and Tiffany (Jonathan) Lechleitner. Along with many loving great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday November 5, 2022 from 1pm-5pm at Central Christin Church, 241 Mt. Vernon Ave Marion, Ohio 43302. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the church address. We ask that family and friends send pictures and memories/stories of Adele to sammyadelememorial@gmail.com to be included when we honor her life.
