Aida Nieves, 79, of Woodlynne, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at home. Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico. She dedicated her life to her family, filling every day with kindness, warmth, and unconditional love. She will forever be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy came from the time she spent with her family. Her home was always full of laughter, love, and countless shared memories. She cherished her family, taking pride in watching each generation grow. Family was truly the center of her life, and she always made sure everyone knew they were loved and cared for. She had a special love for plants, tenderly nurturing them and finding joy in their growth and bloom. She delighted in arts and crafts, creating thoughtful, handmade pieces that captured her creativity and served as lasting treasures for her loved ones. She leaves behind a beloved family that will forever cherish her: her devoted sons, Angel Sotomayor and Alejandro Sotomayor, along with his wife, Winnie; her loving daughter, Rosita Fuentes, and her husband, Elias. She was the proud and loving grandmother of Melissa, Jessica and her husband Frank, Jasmine, Elijah, and Jennifer, and a doting great-grandmother to Noah, Logan, and Tatum. She is also survived by her dear siblings, Carmelo, Eufernio, and Ana, who will hold her spirit close to their hearts. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 11 AM to 12:30 PM, at Inglesby and Sons Funeral Home, 2426 Cove Road, Pennsauken, NJ.
