On July 9, 2024, we lost our beloved Aimee Marie Bockhol, daughter, sister, mother, and wife.
Aimee lived in Dix, Illinois and was born in Joliet, Illinois to Linda C. Weston of Centralia and Wayne K. Bockhol of Mount Vernon.
Aimee is survived by her wife, Heather E. Bockhol; son, Jacobi K. Bockhol; daughter, Madison M. Burke; mother, Linda C. Weston; father, Wayne K. Bockhol; sisters, Andrea and James Campbell of Sandoval, Melissa Wonders and Tracy Williams of Santa Rosa, California, Megan Wonders of Centralia, Desiree Wonders and Jared Bergstrom of Carbondale, Lindsey A. Loyd and Alice Loyd; brothers, Adam and Sydney Bockhol of Salem and Aaron M. Bockhol of Tucson, Arizona; and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
Aimee was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Bockhol of Joliet, Illinois; sister, Tracy Bockhol of Joliet, Illinois; and nephew, Brier D. Bergstrom of Carbondale.
She loved her son more than anything. She worked hard and played even harder!! She gave courage to people when she didn't have the courage for herself. She was stubborn and mean to the core. If you owed her money, the interest would break you. However, she would give you the shirt off her back. Aimee will always be missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at Aimee's father-in-laws house. Memorials may be made in Aimee's honor to a trust fund for her son, Jacobi at Woodforest National Bank at Walmart in Mount Vernon.
