Alan D. Anglin

Alan Dennis Anglin Jr (AD) the son of the late Alan D Anglin Sr and the late Fredericka Catlett Anglin was born August 27, 1974, in Quantico Virginia. He received his early education in the Prince William County School system, attending Graham Park Middle School and Potomac Senior High School, before moving to Stafford County for his senior year, where he graduated from Stafford Senior High School. Alan received some post-secondary education from Northern Virginia Community College in Woodbridge Virginia.
Throughout his lifetime, Alan has had many cherished jobs, the most notable were Star Bethlehem Christian Academy, Hour Eyes which later became Vison Eyes and the most enduring of which being his time at MyEyeDr, where he worked for more than 15 years. Alan worked his way up through the company, starting as a lab technician and ending his career as a general manager. During his tenure with the company, Alan earned many awards and accolades for his customer service, record-breaking sales, and work ethic. His experience with the company shows his dedication to his craft and amazing talent of customer service skills.
Star Bethlehem helped mold Alan into the man he was. He became a member of Star Bethlehem as a teenager. He learned to love and show compassion to all humankind through the word of God at Star Bethlehem, which he prided himself on each day. Alan believed that love and respect made a family, not just blood or physical relations, which is why he had so many friends that became family to him.
Alan became a member of the Dale City Twisters Motorcycle group. A group which became known as family to him. Dale City Twisters not only gave back to their community, the displayed love amongst each other. Alan was a proud member of the Twisters for over 13 years.
Proceeded in death by his father Alan Anglin Sr., his mother Fredericka Catlett Anglin. Alan leaves his love and cherished memories to his wife Anitra Major Anglin; his children Dominique Major, Donovan Anglin, Aleyah Anglin, and Amiyah Anglin; his stepmother Rosita Anglin; his siblings Waymond Smith Anglin, Gregory Anglin, Lewis Middleton, Yolanda Adens (Hank), Dwight Jackson, Darlene Howard Holt (Jeremy); many nieces and nephews; 11 Godchildren.
We will all miss his love, enormous heart, his conversations, and willingness to be there for anyone.
