Alan L. Blanck, 65, of Marion, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.
He was born on April 13, 1960, in Paxton, Illinois, to the late Harold and Sandra (Owens) Blanck. After graduating from high school, Alan met the love of his life, Dicie (Edwards) Blanck, and the two were married on May 17, 1997. He worked as a truck driver for 30 years before retiring.
In his spare time, Alan enjoyed watching hot rod racing and spending time with those he loved.
Alan is survived by his wife, Dicie; brothers, Tom Blanck and Dale (Sherrie) Blanck; as well as many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his longtime friends, Nate Titus and Richard Shaw.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, College Park Chapel, 4601 S. Western Ave., Marion, Indiana.
A graveside service will be held at Estates of Serenity, 2225 S. Lincoln Blvd., Marion, on Wednesday, October 8,2025 at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Alan Reagan officiating.
