Alan Griffith May, 45, of Cedar Creek, Missouri, went on to be with The Lord while surrounded by family on April 2, 2025. He was born to Gary and Marvia (Tweedy) May December 21,1979, in Branson, Missouri.
He attended Cedar Creek School briefly before going to and graduating from Forsyth High School. After graduating from high school, Alan worked construction then for a motel in their maintenance department. Whenever he had time off, he enjoyed spending it outdoors, fishing and hunting.
Alan leaves behind his mother Marvia (Tweedy) May of Cedar Creek, MO; two brothers, Wayman May of Independence, MO, Johnny May wife Amy of Cedar Creek, MO; one sister, Dixie Fontenot husband Dwayne of Independence, MO; maternal grandmother, Wilma Tweedy of Cedar Creek, MO; three nephews, two nieces; and other numerous family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Gary May; paternal grandparents, John and Ida May; maternal grandfather, Marvin Tweedy.
Memorials in memory of Alan May, may be sent to Marvia May, 166 Carl Moore Lane Cedar Creek, MO 65627.
Visitation will be Saturday April 12, 2025, from 3-5 P.M. at Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel, 16560 US-160, Forsyth, MO 65653.
