On December 8, 2024, Robin Lucille Shipley Goetz, a loved daughter, sister, wife, and mother passed away at her home surrounded by family.
Robin was born on October 25, 1966, to Richard and Frances Shipley. She was raised in Protem, Missouri, and graduated from Forsyth High School. Robin often had to travel for work, but she always held on to her local roots and spent her life lovingly raising her family in Protem. Robin married Bill Goetz on November 12, 2022.
Robin was a beautiful person inside and out. She was very family-oriented and felt the most at ease when spending time with her family and living life on the farm. She enjoyed doing anything outdoors including riding horses, camping, spending time at the lake and on the beach, driving back roads, or just visiting on the porch. Robin had a heart of gold and would always go out of her way to do anything she could to help others and ensure that everyone she met felt loved and valued. She loved spending time with her husband, her mom, her sons, and grandbabies. She was the best Nana, loved by so many, and will be truly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father Richard Shipley, and her infant twin boys Dalton and Colby.
Robin is survived by her husband Bill Goetz; mother, Frances Fowler; three sons: Jacob Heard, Darin "Ty" (Shanna) Heard, Richard "Zane" (Casey) Honeycutt; stepson, Drew Bowman; brother, Jeff (Tracy) Shipley; and her grandchildren: Jasper Jones, Kinley Honeycutt, Harley Bowman, and Briar Honeycutt.
