Henderson, Nevada-
Alan Oren Melchior, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025, in Holladay, Utah. Born in Henderson, Texas, Alan was a devoted family man and a passionate entrepreneur whose greatest joy came from time spent with his wife, Lydia, and their children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Monday, June 2nd, at Southeast Christian Church in Murray, Utah, with viewing at 10:00 a.m. and services at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery in Cottonwood Heights, Utah.

So sorry to hear about my friend Alan. We flew to Moab, Utah many times while working on the hotel on Main Street. I learned a lot from him and he will be missed. I'm so sorry for your loss Lydia. I know he is in a better place and will be waiting for you to reunite. Prayers for the family.
