Alan Eugene Teague, 69, passed away peacefully in his Martinsville home on Friday, March 8, 2024 while surrounded by his loved ones. He was born Sunday, March 14th, 1954, in
Sidney, Ohio to the late Judson and Carrie (Patrick) Teague.
Alan was a graduate of Decatur Central High School, Class of 1972. His memberships included Camby Community Church, Lynhurst Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, and Cataract Yacht Club. He retired from Eli Lilly as a quality control representative in 2008.
Alan is remembered as one who loved his family and friends fiercely. He was kind, charismatic, and never met a stranger. Alan enjoyed cooking, reading, and listening to music. He had an adventurous, fun-loving spirit and spent much of his time traveling, boating, camping, motorcycling, and driving his '96 Corvette. He was also an avid collector of clocks and watches.
He leaves behind a loving family including his wife, Wilma L. Moore of Martinsville; daughters, Jennifer Teague-Pace (Virgil) of Indianapolis and Deanna Gladson (Mark) of Camby; son, Matthew Teague of Indianapolis; sisters, Kathy Turner (Bill) of Indianapolis and Karen Morgan (Scott) of Noblesville; brother, Gary Teague (Sue) of Noblesville; step-son, Tom Moore (Sheronda) of Indianapolis; step-daughters, Melissa and Rachel Moore of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Jeffrey and Chris Pace, Michael Gladson, Haley Grooms (Matthew), Marissa Gladson, Charity and Myah Teague and great-grandchildren, Aiden and Lennon Pace and Jace Rogers.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service Saturday, March 16th, 2024, at 11:00 am at West Newton Cemetery, 6701 Milton St. West Newton, IN.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 1st, 2024, at 12:00 pm at St. Ann Catholic Church, 6350 S. Mooresville Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46221.
