Albert C. Dickson, of Huntingdon Valley, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. He was 89 years old. Al, as he was known by his family and friends, was born in Philadelphia on February 13, 1935 to the late Stephen and Anna (née Casale) Dickson.
Al grew up in Germantown along with his older brother, Stephen. He graduated from Dobbins High School. He was married until 1985 to our mother, Marie Dickson.
Al worked for PantryPride/Penn Fruit for 25 years as a silk screen artist. After Pantry Pride's closing, he continued as a silk screen artist at another company.
He enjoyed watching old western movies as well as the Phillies and Eagles games. He loved his cat, Midnight. He continued to draw and make greeting cards for family throughout his life.
Al is survived by his children: Albert S. Dickson (Barbara), Michael M. Dickson (Angie), Paul J. Dickson, David A. Dickson (Amy), and his grandchildren: Jennifer Dickson, Matthew Dickson, Lenny Dickson, Danielle Devine (Joe), Michael J. Dickson, Christopher Dickson (fiancé Alana), Gina-Marie Dickson, D.J. Dickson, Sean Dickson, Haley Dickson, and is predeceased by his brother: Stephen Dickson.
Relatives and friends are invited to Al's Life Celebration on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. followed by his funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the McGhee-Givnish Life Celebration Home, 690 Belmont Ave. Southampton, PA 18966. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Al may be made to the Eagles Autism Foundation at https://www.philadelphiaeagles.com/eaglesautismfoundation/.

Your Dad was a funny and also polite man. I always enjoyed his company at Angie´s for holiday dinners. May he rest in peace. And rest in the Lord´s merciful arms.
