ALBERT DENVER DILLON, age 78, of Washington CH, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at his home. His death was sudden and unexpected.
He was born on September 23, 1946 in Madison County to the late Melvin D. and Alma L. (Arnett) Dillon. He was a 1966 high school graduate. Albert worked as a truck driver for most of his life. He enjoyed fishing, taking rides to Deer Creek State Park to watch the deer, reading, and was also a Dallas Cowboys and Ohio State Buckeye fan.
In addition to his parents, Albert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marie A. (Carpenter) Dillon; daughter, Alma Lee Leaman; granddaughter, Janiya McLavin; and brother, Buddy Dillon.
Survivors include his children, Jerri Dillon, John Carpenter, Hillary Dillon, and William Dillon; grandchildren, Majaela, Jalesi'a, Janaya, J'Vion, Ja'deja, Jai'lei, Bladeth, Alandria, Kendra, William, Jr., McKenzie, and Khloie; greatgrandchildren, Sylus, Julius, Raiden, and Baby Kezi arriving in December; sister, Debrah Dillon; and nephews, Kenneth Dillon, and Richard Dillon. Also surviving are several cousins and a host of friends.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
