Albert Lee Landrum, age 83, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on March 2, 1941, in Hendersonville, North Carolina to the late Robert and Alberta Landrum. He graduated from East High School, in Columbus, Ohio. He later graduated from Franklin University with a Master's Degree in Business Administration.
Albert retired from Ross (Abbott) Laboratories after 30+ years of dedicated service. He was a 50+ year member of Union Grove Baptist Church, former Father of the Year, and a dedicated member of the Bus Ministry. His great loves were going on cruises with his beautiful wife Shirley, traveling, and spending time with his beloved family. Some of his hobbies included bowling in various work leagues, playing softball, and hunting. He also loved watching his all-time favorite football team, The Dallas Cowboys.
Albert is preceded in death by his father Robert Landrum, mother Alberta Landrum, wife Shirley Landrum, brother Charles Landrum, and sister Loretta Jean Aikens.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters Dietra (Arthur) Hensley, and Alicia Landrum; son Anthony (Sonia) Neely; sister Stephanie Phillips, sister-in-law Geneva Landrum, grandchildren Rejyanae Neely, Kiara Hensley, and Ricky Hensley; great-grandson Landes Mcwilson, a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
