Albert Masonius ObituaryAlbert Masonius, age 32, of Keyport, NJ, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025.
Born in New Brunswick and raised in Keyport, NJ, Albert was deeply rooted in his hometown and cherished his community and the people within it.
Throughout his career as a CDL Instructor, Al not only trained and mentored many but also helped guide others toward new beginnings. Using his own experiences, he helped those in recovery, reflecting the compassion and empathy that so deeply defined him.
Al was so much more than his smile and his laugh, though anyone who knew him will never forget those. He had a heart of gold, was always willing to help anyone in need, and had a sense of humor that could light up even the darkest day. Music was at the heart of who he was, whether playing his guitar or going to concerts, it was how he expressed himself and connected with others.
Albert was a devoted father, son, brother, and friend. His greatest joy in life was his daughter, Juniper, whom he loved beyond measure. His warmth, kindness, and genuine spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He was predeceased by his father, Albert Masonius, his grandparents, Valyrie and Carmen Rizzo, Nicholas Metallo, Mary Ford, and Carol Masonius. Albert is survived by his beloved daughter, Juniper Rae, his loving parents, Cheryl and Mark Ford, his sister, Ciara Ford-McCoy, and her husband, Killian, his brother, Christopher Spinoso, along with many cherished extended family members and dear friends who will hold his memory close to their hearts forever.
All friends and family are welcome. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, NJ, with a prayer service at 3:00 PM. A private cremation will follow, with burial to take place at a later date.
