It is with a very heavy heart that we bring you very sad news that our father, Albert Moussa, went to be with our Lord yesterday.
He is survived by his daughter Anita Breidi, his son Charlie Moussa and wife Rachel Moussa, 5 grandchildren, Anthony and Maya Breidi, Alayna, Jacob and Samantha Moussa, his brother Elie Moussa, and a large extended family.
He is preceded in death by his wife Soumaya Moussa, his parents Karim and Guatha Moussa, his brother Antoine Moussa, and his sister Antoinette Nicholas and her husband Maroun and their sons Fouad and Charlie.
Dad was born on June 26, 1943, in Lebanon. He married Soumaya in 1973. They emigrated from Lebanon in the early 1970's and paved the way for many family members to join them in the United States.
Dad loved to sing. When we were teens, we had a band, where we played and sang at parties and weddings. As we grew up, we had countless musical parties filled with family and friends, and even some Lebanese celebrities.
He loved to hunt, fish, watch football and play tarneeb but his favorite thing on earth was to spend time with his grandchildren. Up until the very end, he brought donuts every Saturday morning to the grandkids and enjoyed watching them play.
The grandkids will always remember the stories he told, and the songs he sang by artists like Dean Martin and Elvis. They could always count on him to tickle them and get down on the floor and play ball with them.
Dad was an auto body man for many years at Tony's Body Shop, a family-owned business where he worked alongside his brothers. Later in his career, he worked with many relatives and friends at NE Construction. He retired a few years ago.
Dad loved to walk around his neighborhood. He was often outside working in the yard or offering to help a neighbor. His neighbors knew and loved him and told us he left a lasting impression.
The relationships our dad built with friends both here and abroad meant the world to him.
Our family expresses its gratitude for all your prayers and the outpouring of love and support. Dad is now at peace. May God rest his soul, and the souls of all our departed loved ones.
