Alberto Sanchez Cabrera entered eternal rest Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024, at his residence in Pharr.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jacinto Sanchez and Maria De La Luz Cabrera, as well as siblings Magdalena Guajardo, Ernesto Sanchez, Antonio Sanchez, Juan Humberto Rosales, and Sergio Sanchez.
Alberto is survived by wife Olivia Nemecio de Sanchez; children, Patricia Rocio (Jose Luis) Sanchez, Luz Maria Rodriguez, Francisco (Maria Luisa) Sanchez, and Mayra (John Garza) Sanchez ; grandchildren, Ivanna Rodriguez, Julissa Sanchez, Astrid Sanchez, Francisco A. Sanchez, Camila A. Rosario, Sheyla Palomino, Lalaine Palomino, and Jessica Sanchez; two brothers, Abel Sanchez and Nemecio Sanchez; and four sisters, Ernestina (Jose) Gonzalez, Enriqueta Morato, Maria (Rolando) Robledo, and Bertalicia Sanchez.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Friday, January 5, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 12 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2024, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Burial will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
