Aldrin Farrie also known as "Big Al" was born on June 5, 1953 to George Washington and Eugenia Lamar Farrie, in Sylvester, GA. He was the tenth of their fifteen children. He graduated from Worth County High School in 1972. He passed away peacefully at Atrium Health Navicent Hospital in Macon, GA on July 20, 2025 with his loving wife of 20 years by his side.
He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1994. He served faithfully as a pioneer and Ministerial Servant until his death. He enjoyed cart witnessing, volunteering at the assemblies/conventions and checking on sick and infirmed ones. He took his congregational responsibilities very seriously. He was a respected and loved member of the Tifton East Congregation.
He was very adamant about keeping the yards and cars clean. He was a stickler for being on time and known for arriving extremely early for all events. He was reliable, dependable and was always smiling, laughing, joking around and enjoyed socializing with others.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife Barbara Farrie; children Michelle Green (Billy), Tanika Wilcox, Alex Farrie (Wendy) and Tammie Morris (Jacque); siblings Betty Davis, Juanita Clark (Jimmy), Luretha Farrie, Cynthia Pittman (Marcus), George Farrie (Elizabeth), Benjamin Farrie (Mary), Charlie Farrie (Diane), Lewis Farrie (Betty) Marcus Farrie (Tracy); and seven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Carrie Mae Harris, Lawernce Farrie, Melva Farrie, Annette Hooks and Otis Farrie.
Service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, 11:00am, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses-
1911 Whiddon Mill Road Tifton, Ga 31793.
