Alex Edward Gutierrez of Wurtsboro, NY, tragically passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022. He was 16 years old. Alex was born on January 17, 2006 in Bronx, NY; the son of Priscilla DiLauro and John Gutierrez.
Alex attended Ellenville High School. He enjoyed gaming, dirt bikes, listening to music and basketball. He was very energetic and would light up a room. He could talk to anyone and was a social butterfly. Alex was an adored son, brother, grandson and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Alex was predeceased by his father John this past January.
He is survived by his mother Priscilla DiLauro and Peter Candelario who was like a father to him; his sister, Annalese Gutierrez; his brothers, John Gutierrez and Anias DiLauro; his maternal grandparents, Carol and George Schroeder; his paternal grandmother, Ana Roman; his nieces, Aubrey Kapri DiLauro and Leiana Gutierrez; Aunts and Uncles, Nicole DiLauro, Justin Sullivan, Shane Schroeder, George Schroeder, Michael Schroeder, George Gutierrez and Rosemary Santiago; his cousin, Mark Loehmann; as well as many cousins and friends.
Visiting will be held on Saturday, December 3rd from 1:00 – 5:00 pm with a celebration of his life beginning at 4:00 that afternoon.
