Funeral services for Alex Ray Wyman, 32-year-old Buffalo resident who passed away Thursday, January 25, will be held Tuesday, February 6th at 2:00 at the Harness Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with Pastor John Constantine officiating. A private family interment will take place at a later date. There will be a reception following the service at the County Fire Hall on Bypass Road, in Buffalo. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alex's memory may be made to Alena Wyman, for the future education expenses of Alex's daughter, at First interstate Bank 40 East Hart Street, Buffalo Wyoming 82834. Online condolences may be made at www.harnessfuneralhome.com.
Alex Ray Wyman was born on September 19, 1991, in Powell, Wyoming to David Wyman and Jera Monroe. During his formative years the family moved to Laramie and later, Buffalo. A graduate of Buffalo High School, Alex's thirst for knowledge and personal growth led him to further his education at Montana State University Billings and Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming. After college, Alex went to work for his father's company for four years and subsequently made a career for himself in the construction industry which took him all over the United States.
Beyond his professional life, Alex was a man of diverse interests and abilities. He was extremely talented and able to master any skill he put his mind to. He enjoyed all sports and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. His love for golf and snowboarding spoke to his appreciation for the outdoors and the joy he found in the thrill of the game and the tranquility of the slopes. He had great artistic ability and loved to draw and paint. However, his strongest talent was to build kind and loving relationships with others from all walks of life.
In 2018, Alex met his love Chelsea Sandefur, and in 2021, the two were given the gift of their daughter Alena Wyman, who was the light of his life, and who will carry his memory forward.
Those who knew Alex will remember him as a man who adored his daughter beyond measure, treasured his grandparents, and was a great friend that cared for everyone. In every role he played-whether as a son, father, brother, or friend-he brought light and love into the lives of others. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him to live with the same kindness and grace that he did.
Alex is survived by: his father, David Wyman (Cora) of Powell, Wyoming; his mother, Jera (Pat) Monroe of Buffalo, Wyoming; Chelsey Sandefur and his daughter Alena of Buffalo, Wyoming; his brothers, Garrett Monore (Madelyn) of Rapid City, South Dakota and Kason Monroe of Buffalo, Wyoming; his sisters, Nicole Monroe (Dylan) of Brandon, South Dakota and Katelyn Monroe of Buffalo, Wyoming.
Alex is preceded in death by his grandparents, Walt Wyman and Gladys Miller.

Alex was smart and witty from the moment I met him. He had a heart that was kind and a big smile to match, and he would have claimed to be a `playa´ and giggled about it if he told you about our first meet. His dad and I were close at the time, and Al instantly fit right into my family. We kept in touch for the years that followed, and the one thing I will never let go of is how amazing he was with my kids... with everyone really. He was loved by most instantly, but it was comforting to see all three of my kids (then, under the age of 10) fall in love with Alex hard and fast.
