Alexander Paul Babcock was born on January 27, 2000 in Stavropol, Russia and passed away on September 18, 2025. He was 25yrs old.
Alex was adopted in March 2001 by Aimee and Mike Babcock. He was precocious and he always felt "like a little old man trapped in a toddler's body". Alex was sensitive and hardworking, he always wanted to help others.
Alex was heavily involved in boy scouts. He earned his Mic-O-Say badge of honor and was an Eagle scout as well.
He loved God from an early age and was active in a church band. At the age of 3 he was preaching from the balcony and asking for "real" money - not the pretend kind. Alex actively sought God's direction in what he should do with his life but didn't feel he had gotten an answer. He loved the funeral business and was compassionate and attentive to other's needs in a time of crisis.
Alex was an avid hunter and loved going hunting with his father, grandpa Ray and his fiancé', Brook. Alex was engaged to Brook Davidson last Christmas and she was the love of his life and his priority.
Alex is survived by his parents, Mike and Aimee Babcock; siblings, Mackenzie, Taylor, Connor and Scott; grandparents, Ray and Marcella Babcock, John and Linda Rounds, and Randy and Linda Bendorf; his fiancé', Brook Davidson and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th at 10am at the Central Assembly Church, 1009 W. 23rd St. S, Independence, Mo. 64055.
