Alexander Thomas Bull May 14, 1999 – August 31, 2024
A life that touches others is a life well-lived. Alex Bull's was a life well-lived.
Born May 14, 1999 in Salem, Massachusetts, Alex was the first born to Sara and Tom Bull. He came into this world with a genuine smile, infectious laughter, and a larger-than-life personality. He left this world knowing that God is real, and miracles can happen.
To say he will be missed is an understatement; to say he will live on in our hearts is a certainty.
Alex graduated from Marblehead High School in 2017, where he performed as the beatboxer and bass for the Jewel Tones A Capella Group. He began his college career at Blinn College in Brenham, where he was a member of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society and the Texas Region District V Hall of Honor recipient. He had recently transferred to Texas A & M University where he was majoring in Political Science.
Alex fought a seventeen-year battle with epilepsy that few people could even begin to understand. He faced obstacle after obstacle with courage and determination and never shied away from setbacks and disappointments. Alex was a warrior.
Strong not only in body but also in mind, Alex always had a wise adage up his sleeve, a joke to crack about every situation, and so much love to give to his family. He never let epilepsy get in the way of being a big brother and a devoted son. Protective, thoughtful, and giving, Alex always put his little sister first.
Alex is preceded in death by his cousin, Whitney Mitchell, with whom he shared a special bond, and his beloved grandparents, Harriett and Norris Bull, and Kendall and Sherman Macdaniel. He is survived by his father, Thomas Langdon Bull; mother, Sara Macdaniel Bull; sister, Lauren Kendall Bull; Aunt Sally Bull Sands and husband Larry; Aunt Anne Mitchell, Uncle Sherman (Cubby) Macdaniel and wife Janet, sister-in-law Florence Hartsfield, cousins Sumner and Miles Macdaniel, Allison Gooden, Frances (CeCe) and Douglas Mitchell, Jeffrey and Hannah Sands, second cousins Henry and Wyatt Quillin, Virginia, Cooper and Walker Noble, and three cats, two dogs, and two donkeys.
A Visitation Service will be held at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home, 208 W. Pearl St, La Grange, TX on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to follow. The Burial Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 209 E. Bell St, Fayetteville, TX at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024, with lunch in the Reception Hall to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Epilepsy Foundation, St. John's Catholic Church in Fayetteville, TX, or the charity of your choice.
Alex had a kind and gentle heart and a pure and bright soul.
Alex "We love you more!"

My most sincere condolences to your family. Alex was in my freshman World Cultures class at Marblehead High School and I remember him as a very bright, personable young man with a great sense of humor. I always enjoyed our spirited exchanges before - during - and after class. My thoughts are with you and Alex. Brian Crowley
